This short film was televised to 7.2 million people during the 2016 Paralympics to inspire and recruit the next generation of Canadian para-athletes.
People with “growth mindset” interpret their failures as proof that they need to work harder. People with a “fixed mindset” attribute their failures to not being smart/fast/good enough, fixed qualities that can’t change. Research shows that people can be shifted to a growth mindset relatively easily, by being exposed to messaging that demonstrates how the growth mindset operates.
