Innovation: I usually travel with a ukulele. So much of tourism operates on extraction; I prefer exchange. I go to do, I don’t go to see. I go to listen, to observe, and to be a conduit for people’s stories. The ukulele opens up many doors for cultural exchange.
Role: Writer, musician, director, editor.
